Battle Over Athebyne
This wide landscape set depicts a battle scene from the book, Iron Flame, of the Empyrean series. Spoiler During the ‘war games’ a battle ensues over the outpost of Athebyne with Violet and Xanden, and their dragons, Tairn and Sgaeyl, taking the lead. You can see lightning coming from the sky as Tairn enflames the enemy on the ground. Made with high quality Japanese seed beads, I used flashy silk satin beads to mimic the flash of lightning and silver lined orange beads to portray flame. This set is finished with a circular sterling silver lever back earring hook and hang at about 4.25”.
