How long does it take to make a piece?

This is definitely my most frequent question, and there really isn’t a solid answer! Each item is slow made and hand woven one bead at a time. I am a one person operation and try to provide new variety and interest for my customers through original and sometimes one off designs. But if I had to put a timer on things, the designing portion of my creative process takes me anywhere from two to eight hours including prototyping. The weaving portion depends on the size and complexity but usually averages out at about six hours; more time if it is a sculpted framed brass piece. This does not include shooting photos, posting reels, updating my website, and vending at markets, running this small business is truly a labor of love!

How long does it take to receive my item?

I offer two types of items, ready-to-ship and made-to order. Many of my pieces are a run of one and therefore ready-to-ship. If I have enough inventory and decide to offer an exclusive run of several pieces I will specify that I have one ready with an option to select a made-to-order from a drop down menu. A note on ready-to-ship pieces, they can still take two weeks be dropped off due to proximity to a post office. Please allow made-to-order pieces six weeks to be crafted, they will often be ready far before that but I request ample time to balance orders and demand. What material are the hooks made of?

My pieces all vary and I try to match the finish of the hooks to the colors and other metals in the set. I use an array of findings including nickel-free stainless steel, nickel-free brass, nickel-free silver, brass, and 18k gold plated stainless steel. I have 14k gold filled and sterling silver hooks available for an up charge of $5.00 upon request (please contact me). The item’s description will specify which option comes with the set you are viewing.

Do you take custom orders?

Currently, I take custom orders on a case by case basis. If there is a design that I offer that is made-to-order you’re welcome to reach out to see if I have inventory for a custom color way. Full customs will need to be discussed to make sure our visions align and that I have the time to dedicate to your piece!

What if I lose or break an earring?

I am happy to help you restore your set by either repairing or reweaving a match. I charge 50% of the original cost of the set plus shipping and I can only offer prompt service if I have the beads required in inventory. In the case of a repair, I will have to asses the damage to give you a quote for the fix. If I have to order a specific bead, It could take a couple weeks longer than I quote you at the time of reaching out.

What is the best way to reach you?
